Maslenitsa is a traditional Slavic festival that is celebrated the whole week. Traditionally, throughout the feast of Maslenitsa mass celebrations with games and noisy dances take place. And of course, the most important ritual is baking of the holiday symbols - pancakes. At the end of the week a scarecrow - called Maslenitsa - is burnt.
